Mr. Sheehan is a distressed debt, loan servicing, real estate valuation, credit and investment specialist.
He has lived and worked across a range of jurisdictions in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
A proven track record in investment accuracy, profitable transaction origination and execution,
collateralised loan servicing and portfolio work-outs based on detailed in-depth knowledge of a
number of global capital and real estate markets.
From 1999 to 2005 was employed in Lehman Brothers real estate group in Bangkok servicing & sourcing distressed
debt opportunities and originating real estate investments spanning all components of capital structure.
From 2005 to August 2008 was employed at Lehman Brothers European HQ in London working in distressed debt and loan servicing.
This included establishing, training and supervising a platform of 80 full-time local staff in Istanbul,
Turkey working out a portfolio of 40,000 non-performing commercial loans.
In total invested over USD 1 Billion of Lehman proprietary capital.
Prior to joining Lehman Brothers held senior executive positions in the real estate development,
consultancy and broking industries in Western Europe and South East Asia.
In 2009 he established Global Markets Asia in Bangkok, in order to provide further information and research on the
global economy and to promote advisory services for corporations and financial institutions on their distressed
loan & asset holdings in South-east Asia and Europe.
In 2010 established Distressed Debt Servicing, which undertakes institutional advisory services and specialized
training courses for asset managers. Assignments have been undertaken in the U.K., Ireland, Germany and Poland.
 Mr. Sheehan is a respected author of numerous publications with his latest called
Optimising Distressed Loan Books - Practical solutions for dealing with non-performing loans
published by Harriman House and to be released in September 2011.
